Cartoon characters not great for your kids\ health

Strangely, a new research finds that television commercials targeted to children are working. When you are walking down the aisles in a grocery store and your child throws a tantrum over the desire to have a box of healthy cereal which comes in the shape of cartoon characters, don’t be surprised. There is no scientific research that shows children are in fact influenced by television commercials which push food and drinks emblazoned with the images of their favorite cartoon characters. It’s true! Oddly, children are not very concerned about the nutritional value of their morning cereal or their frozen dinner as long as they see a picture of SpongeBob SquarePants on the box. While children are drooling after products tied in with their beloved cartoon pals, such as SpongeBob, their parents seem to be suffering from the same lack of intellectual prowess as Patrick (SpongeBob’s sidekick).
